Rich Goldman serves as executive producer on Daytime Emmy® nominated JUDGE DAVID YOUNG, Sony Pictures Television's nationally syndicated weekday courtroom series.
Goldman has been a producer with Sony Pictures Television since 2000. Under his leadership, the JUDGE DAVID YOUNG series will feature cases that resonate with the daytime audience and that bring out the best in Judge David Young's feisty and fun personality.
In addition to serving as executive producer for JUDGE DAVID YOUNG, Goldman is currently the executive producer for Sony's newest courtroom series, JUDGE KAREN.
Goldman also served as the co-executive producer for JUDGE MARIA LOPEZ, and executive producer for Daytime Emmy® nominated JUDGE HATCHETT.
When not filming the Sony Pictures Television court shows, Goldman uses his time to tape “Rich Goldman's Creature Quest,” a DVD series for kids, where Goldman leads viewers on searches for wild animals including gorillas, tigers and humpback whales in exotic locations across the globe.
Before joining Sony Pictures Television, Goldman produced numerous MTV specials and series, and also produced Comedy Central's Cable Ace Award-nominated series, VIVA VARIETY. Goldman was also awarded a Sports Emmy for NBC's coverage of the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta, where Goldman boasts he was punched by “Dream Team” member Charles Barkley.
Raised in Houston, Texas, Goldman is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. He currently lives in Brooklyn, New York with his wife Jane, his son Jacob Ji Won, and their dog named Puppy.
